Boston Tea Party

A Fall staple with the sweetness of molasses and tart, juicy apples. Tea became a colonial staple and was not confined to the affluent; it was considered a healthy beverage, a sign of good manners and expected hospitality. The Boston Tea Party was a trigger for the American Revolution on December 16, 1773. During the tea boycott the colonists boiled pine needles, strawberry leaves, maple leaves and shrubs to stem their thirst for tea. This tea captures the spirit of the revolution. Boston isn’t the only place for a tea place for a tea party!
